The 104 square kilometers Than Bok Korani national park is in the northern part of Krabi province, opposite Phuket island.
Mountains and valleys alternately take the landscape, and is the head waters of several river streams. The large part of the forest is evergreen especially on the steep hills.
Mangrove forest and swamp forest are found near the sea to the west.
In "Pi Hua Toe" and "Chao Le" caves pre-historic wall paintings of people, animals and geometric shapes are found.
Visitors to the park enjoy picnicing, trekking, boating and canoe ride at the sea.

How to get there
From Krabi take the highway no. 4 to the north for about 40 km to the "Ao Luek" intersection. Take the left turn to the road no. 4039 (Ao Luek - Laem Suk) for another 2 km to the park.
