Si Po waterfall national park covering about 289 square kilometers is located in Narathiwat province of southern
Thailand.
The park consists of rugged mountain ranges covered by healthy rain forests which are the habitat of many kinds of
wild animals. These forests along with the hills and waterfalls create very beautiful nature with changing
scenes in different seasons.
All-year-round green forest along the mountains contain valuable plants such as Malacca
Teak, Yang, and several kinds of iron wood. Wild animals existing in the park include mammals such as
monkey, langue, barking deer, mouse deer, deer,
porcupine, loris, civet cat, and giant squirrel; birds such as hornbill, hill myna, hawk; and
many kinds of aquatic life.
